Star Automations repairs VFDs and AC drives at component level at its factory in Puducherry, for plants and OEMs across India. Each drive is powered up on a test rig and run with a motor under load before it is returned with a printed test report.

Every VFD is powered up on a test rig and run with a motor under load before return.
- Inward check with photos; serial number logged.
- Fault traced at component level: power stage, gate drive, control, feedback.
- Quote with findings before work starts.
- Tested on a rig or custom jig; drives run with a motor under load.
- All work at ESD-protected benches.
- Printed test report, traceable by serial number.

Do you repair VFDs at component level?
Yes. We trace the fault on the board, including the power stage, DC bus and control circuits, replace the failed components and run the drive with a motor under load before return.
My VFD trips on overcurrent. Can it be repaired?
Usually. Overcurrent trips often trace to the power stage, gate drive or current sensing, and sometimes to the motor or cable. Send the model and trip code, and the motor details if you suspect it.
Do you repair large VFDs?
Yes. Send the model, rating and fault. We confirm what we can test before you ship, and arrange pickup where needed.
What comes back with a repaired VFD?
A printed test report with the tests, acceptance criteria and results, traceable by serial number, and a GST invoice. Findings are shared with the quote before work starts.
