How long does an import take?
The lead time depends on the part, the source and customs, and it is stated on the quote before you commit. Urgent parts are flagged so we pick the fastest route.
Which countries do you source from?
We source through our own entities in the USA and Bahrain and through other suppliers abroad. The source and condition are stated on the quote.
Do I pay before you source?
We quote first. Payment terms are stated on the quote, and nothing is imported without your written acceptance.
What if the part is obsolete everywhere?
We tell you early and suggest options: repair of your unit, a refurbished unit, or a drop-in replacement. See our retrofit page.
Do you clear customs?
Import, inspection and customs are handled by us and included in the quote, so you receive a delivered price.
Are you an OEM or authorised distributor?
No. Star Automations is an independent multi-brand supplier and repairer, not an OEM or authorised distributor.
