When a component is obsolete, end-of-life or on long lead time, Star Automations searches stock, distributors and the wider market in India and abroad. If it cannot be found, we suggest an alternate, repair of your unit or a migration path, so the equipment keeps running.

Parts are sourced to order from established distributors and the wider market. Availability, condition, price and lead time are confirmed per enquiry and stated on the quote.
Long lead-time parts
Parts the usual channels cannot supply in time.
Last-time buys
Quantities bought while the part is still available.

Suggested alternates, marked as alternates, with the differences noted.
Repair instead of replace
Repair of your existing unit when the part cannot be found.

Part number, make, quantity, condition needed and the application. A photo of the board or nameplate also works.

Stock check first, then distributors and the wider market, in India and abroad.
Quote
Availability, condition, price and lead time for each line, with alternates marked as alternates.
Inspect
Checks on marking, package and datasheet match, and electrical checks where the part type allows.
Dispatch
Packed with the quote reference and part details, on advance or as agreed.
Can you find obsolete electronic components?
Often yes. We search in India and abroad. If the part cannot be found we say so, and suggest an alternate or a repair of your unit.
What is the risk with obsolete parts?
Counterfeit and remarked parts are a risk. We check marking, package and datasheet, inspect visually and test where the part type allows, and state the condition on the quote.
Can you suggest an alternate?
Yes, with the differences noted. We supply an alternate only with your agreement.
What if the part cannot be found?
We can often repair your own unit at component level, or advise on retrofit and migration.
Do you help with last-time buys?
Yes. Send the part and quantity and we quote.
