Exchange units for line-down cases
When a line is down and cannot wait for a repair, Star Automations can often ship a tested exchange unit while your failed unit is refurbished. Exchange units are available for many servo motor brands and series covered by our universal servo test system, and for other units where stock allows. Ask with the part number.
Your line runs first. The failed unit comes back later.
We ship a tested replacement unit from our stock before your failed unit reaches us. You return the failed unit (the core) within the agreed core-return window and get core credit against the exchange price. The exchange unit carries a warranty stated on your quotation.
Availability depends on stock for each part number. We confirm it with your quote. Star Automations is an independent multi-brand repair company and is not an OEM service centre.
