Solar inverter repair engineer in Bengaluru
Repair string, hybrid and central solar inverters at component level: power stages, DC input and control boards.
- Diagnose inverter faults in the power stage, DC input, control and communication boards
- Replace IGBTs, MOSFETs, drivers, capacitors and sensing parts
- Test repaired inverters on the bench with a load where the unit allows
- Record findings in the repair report
What we look for
- Must have: Power electronics fundamentals
- Must have: Hands-on repair of inverters, UPS, drives or SMPS
- Must have: Oscilloscope and multimeter skills
- Must have: Safe working with high-voltage DC and AC
- Good to have: Experience with Sungrow, Huawei, SMA, Growatt, Solis, Delta or similar makes
- Good to have: UPS, BMS or EV charger repair
- Good to have: Component-level SMD rework

Who you will support
Solar installers, EPC companies, plants and distributors in Karnataka and across India. Star Automations repairs and supplies servo drives, servo motors, encoders, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, solar inverters and industrial electronics, and builds cable harnesses and electronics sub-assemblies.
Where you will work in Bengaluru
Our Bengaluru facility is at 40, Sparkling Nest Rd, Lakshmi Sagar Layout, Brigade Metropolis, Garudachar Palya, Mahadevapura, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560048. Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm IST; evening, part-time and job-based work is discussed per role.
