Hardware engineer in Bengaluru
Build and test electronics for OEM customers: sub-assemblies, cable harnesses, box builds and test fixtures.
- Support OEM electronics builds: sub-assembly, box build and wiring
- Design simple test fixtures and checklists for repaired and built units
- Review customer drawings and bills of materials and flag problems early
- Work with the repair team to turn recurring faults into design fixes
What we look for
- Must have: Electronics fundamentals and hands-on bench skills
- Must have: Ability to read schematics, drawings and a BOM
- Must have: Basic PCB design or review experience in any common tool
- Must have: Clear documentation
- Good to have: Experience with cable harness and wiring standards
- Good to have: Testing and fixture design
- Good to have: Experience with drone, EV or industrial electronics

Who you will support
Product companies and OEMs in Bengaluru that need harnesses, sub-assemblies and electronics built or tested. Star Automations repairs and supplies servo drives, servo motors, encoders, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, solar inverters and industrial electronics, and builds cable harnesses and electronics sub-assemblies.
Where you will work in Bengaluru
Our Bengaluru facility is at 40, Sparkling Nest Rd, Lakshmi Sagar Layout, Brigade Metropolis, Garudachar Palya, Mahadevapura, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560048. Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm IST; evening, part-time and job-based work is discussed per role.
