Diagnose and repair industrial PCBs at component level: servo and VFD drive boards, power supplies, PLC, HMI and CNC boards.
- Trace faults on industrial boards down to the failed component
- Remove and refit surface-mount and through-hole parts at the SMD rework station
- Test repaired boards on the bench and record the readings in the repair report
- Work on power stages, gate drivers, switching supplies and control boards
What we look for
- Must have: Hands-on soldering and desoldering, including SMD and hot-air rework
- Must have: Comfortable with a multimeter and an oscilloscope
- Must have: Able to read a board and find the fault methodically
- Must have: Reliable record-keeping for each repair
- Good to have: Experience with servo drives, VFDs, inverters or CNC boards
- Good to have: Power electronics: IGBT, MOSFET, gate drivers, SMPS
- Good to have: BGA rework experience

Who you will support
OEM service teams, machine builders and factories in Peenya, Whitefield, Mahadevapura and across Karnataka who send boards for repair. Star Automations repairs and supplies servo drives, servo motors, encoders, VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, solar inverters and industrial electronics, and builds cable harnesses and electronics sub-assemblies.
Where you will work in Bengaluru
Our Bengaluru facility is at 40, Sparkling Nest Rd, Lakshmi Sagar Layout, Brigade Metropolis, Garudachar Palya, Mahadevapura, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560048. Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm IST; evening, part-time and job-based work is discussed per role.
