01Repair
Common faults we repair
Autonics encoders are used on packaging, textile and general machinery. A failed encoder usually shows as a missing count, a drive fault or a stopped axis.
No signal or missing channels
A, B or Z channel missing; supply, driver and cable checked.
Noisy or wrong count
Jumping counts, lost pulses and interference traced to the failed part.
Shaft play or bearing noise
Worn bearings and shaft damage on the encoder body.
Cable and connector damage
Broken cores, flex damage and connector faults.
Dirty or damaged disc / scale
Contaminated or damaged sensing element: repair options or replacement.
