Questions
Can you repair the servo motor on a servo pump unit?
Yes. The servo motor that drives the hydraulic pump is repaired like any servo motor: windings, bearings, brake and encoder are checked, the encoder is aligned, and the motor is run with no load and with load. The pump itself stays with your hydraulics team.
Do you repair the servo drive on the machine too?
Yes. Send the drive with the alarm code. It is repaired at component level and tested with a motor before dispatch. If both the motor and the drive failed together, send both, so we can check whether one fault caused the other.
What if my machine cannot wait?
Mark "line down" on the form. If we hold a matching unit, Servo Swap ships it while your unit is repaired. If not, emergency repair is done the same day where the fault and parts allow.
Do you need the machine's parameters?
No, the motor repair does not need them. For drives, back up the parameters if the drive still powers up, because a failed control board can lose them. We tell you if a reload will be needed when the drive goes back on the machine.
