How to send a unit
Send the catalog number, photos of the label and the fault on WhatsApp or email. We confirm scope, you courier the unit to our workshop in Puducherry, and we test, repair and return it. Are you an authorised Allen-Bradley or Rockwell Automation service centre?
No. Star Automations is an independent, multi-brand industrial electronics repair company in Puducherry. We repair, refurbish, migrate and upgrade Allen-Bradley equipment on our own, and we do not represent Rockwell Automation. Allen-Bradley, ControlLogix, SLC 500 and PanelView are trademarks of Rockwell Automation and are used here only to identify compatible products.
Can you repair a ControlLogix 1756-L61 processor?
Yes. We bench-test the 1756-L61 and similar 5560-series controllers, check memory, backplane communication and power circuits, and repair or replace failed parts. If a repair is not economical we tell you and quote a refurbished, tested unit or a migration path instead.
Do you repair the SLC 5/04 1747-L542 processor?
Yes. SLC 5/04 processors, racks and 1746 power supplies are within our repair scope. Many plants also choose to migrate SLC 500 to CompactLogix, and we support both approaches.
Can you repair or replace a PanelView Plus 2711P-T10C4D8?
Yes. We repair display, backlight, touch, power and communication faults on PanelView Plus terminals. For end-of-life terminals we can supply a refurbished unit or help you migrate to a newer PanelView platform.
Do you do PLC migration and upgrade work?
Yes. We plan and carry out migrations such as SLC 500 to CompactLogix and PanelView Plus to a newer terminal, including I/O mapping, wiring changes, program conversion review and commissioning support. Scope is agreed in writing before work starts.
Do you sell refurbished Allen-Bradley modules?
Yes. We supply refurbished, bench-tested processors, I/O modules, power supplies and HMI terminals subject to availability. Send the catalog number and we confirm stock, condition and price.
