A faulty servo drive may have damaged the motor feedback, or the reverse. We check the whole feedback path so the fault does not return after repair.
Testing before return
Repaired motors are verified on our servo test bench (servo motor testing) and drives are functionally tested. The report lists what was tested.
What to send: photo of the nameplate or rating label, full model code and serial number, the fault or alarm code on the display, what happened before the failure, your location and how urgent it is.

Can you repair WEG servo motors and servo drives?
Yes. We repair servo motors and servo drives at component level and test them before return. Coverage depends on the exact model, so send the model code and photos of the nameplate and encoder, and we confirm before you ship anything.
Why does encoder alignment matter after servo repair?
The drive needs the rotor position relative to the encoder. A wrong offset causes poor torque, noise or overcurrent trips. After encoder repair or replacement we align the encoder and verify function before the motor goes back into service.
Should I send the drive and motor together?
Not always. Many faults can be assessed on one unit. If a drive tripped because of a motor, cable or feedback fault, sending both, or at least the motor nameplate and cable details, helps us find the real cause.
Do you repair other servo brands too?
Yes. Star Automations is an independent multi-brand repair company, so a plant with several servo brands can use one repair partner. Send the make and model of each unit and we confirm coverage.
