How to send a servo motor for repair from anywhere in India
Send a photo of the nameplate on WhatsApp to +91 97866 22233 before you ship. We confirm repairability, then you courier the motor to our Chennai bench or ask us to arrange pickup. Pack it so the shaft and connectors are protected and it cannot move in the box, and put a note inside with your company name, contact and the fault.
How to pack a servo motor
Most transit damage is to the shaft, the encoder and the connectors. A few minutes of packing saves a repair on top of the repair.
- Cap or wrap the shaft and keyway
- Fit connector caps, or tape plastic over the connectors
- Do not lift or pack the motor by its cable
- Use a sturdy box or crate with padding on all sides
- Heavy motors: a wooden crate, motor bolted or blocked so it cannot move
- Put a note inside: company, contact, phone, fault and alarm code

WhatsApp the courier docket number when the motor is on its way, so it is logged on arrival. Plants near our offices in Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Delhi can ask for pickup where needed.

Repair and load test
Repaired, aligned where needed, then tested with no load and full load.
Dispatch with report
Returned with a printed test report and a written warranty.
Should I send the motor before you confirm?
No. Send the nameplate on WhatsApp and wait for us to confirm, so we know we can test and repair that model.
Should I send the cable too?
Send the feedback cable if the alarm could be a cable fault. Label it with the motor serial number.
Can you arrange pickup?
Where needed, yes. Ask when you send the nameplate.
Do I need to send the drive?
Send it too if the alarm could come from the drive. We then test them together.
How will the motor come back?
Packed for transit, with a printed test report and a GST invoice.
