Control panel building and retrofit panels in India
Star Automations builds control panels for new machines and retrofit migrations, working from your drawings or our own. Panels are tested before dispatch, and migration panels can be pre-wired so cutover is shorter. Standards requirements such as UL 508A or IEC 61439 are confirmed per project.

We build from your drawings or prepare them with you, and agree components, wiring and labelling before build.
Factory test before dispatch
A factory acceptance test (FAT) is carried out before the panel ships, so problems are found in the workshop, not on site.
Migration panels
For retrofits, panels can be pre-built and tested so the on-site cutover window is short.

Our migration process
- Migration readiness audit: inventory of hardware, firmware, networks, programs and spares
- Back up and document the running system before anything is touched
- Design the target architecture and I/O mapping; agree scope and the cutover approach
- Convert and rebuild the program and HMI, with every conversion warning reviewed by hand
- Test in stages: simulation, panel factory test where panels are built, then site testing
- Cutover with a rollback plan, then handover documentation
What we need from you: Program backups (or access to the running processor); Electrical drawings and the I/O list, if available; Network layout and device list; Photos of nameplates, panels and wiring; Your shutdown windows and any safety requirements.
