Star Automations repairs PLC CPUs and modules, HMIs and CNC control boards at component level at its factory in Puducherry, including older revisions that are hard to replace. Each unit is tested on a rig or custom jig before it is returned with a printed test report.

How we test
PLC modules, HMIs and CNC boards are tested on test rigs and custom jigs before return.
- Inward check with photos; serial number logged.
- Fault traced at component level: power stage, gate drive, control, feedback.
- Quote with findings before work starts.
- Tested on a rig or custom jig; drives run with a motor under load.
- All work at ESD-protected benches.
- Printed test report, traceable by serial number.

Do you repair older PLC modules that are no longer made?
Yes. Older PLC CPUs, I/O and communication modules are repaired at component level and tested before return. If a module cannot be repaired, we can often source one as an obsolete spare.
Can you repair an HMI that does not boot?
Often, yes. Boot failures usually trace to the power supply, memory or the main board. Send the model and the symptom and we confirm before you ship.
Do you repair CNC boards?
Yes. CNC control, axis and display boards and their power supplies are repaired at component level and tested before return.
When should we migrate instead of repairing?
When spares are gone and failures repeat, plan a migration. Repair keeps you running while you plan; we can then migrate the PLC and drives and commission the new system.
