International repair-return: import for repair and re-export from India

Star Automations repairs and refurbishes industrial and motion electronics shipped from outside India, then re-exports them with a test report per unit and the export documents. Star holds its own Importer-Exporter Code (IEC) and handles the Indian customs paperwork. The work is done at our refurbishment factory in Puducherry, India.

01Precedent

A decade of import, refurbishment and re-export

International repair-return

About a decade as global repair/refurbish partner for HP Indigo: units imported via Flextronics, refurbished to Flex quality guidance and re-exported.

02How it works

Five steps from your warehouse and back

Units come into India for repair and leave again after repair, under India's customs and DGFT provisions for import for repair and re-export. Star is registered under India's Electronics Repair Services Outsourcing (ERSO) framework.

Send the model or part numbers, quantities, faults and photos.

  2. Technical review
