Frequently asked questions

Can I send a WEG unit from outside India for repair?

Yes. Send the model code, fault and your country by WhatsApp or the form. We confirm coverage and the shipping route before you send anything, then repair, test and return the unit with a report.

What do I need to send first?

Send a photo of the nameplate, the full model code and serial number, the fault or alarm code, a short fault history and your location. This lets us assess before the unit travels.

Do you repair brands other than WEG?

Yes. Star Automations is an independent multi-brand repair company. If your site has several brands of motors, drives and servo units, you can send all of them to one repair partner. Send the make and model of each.

Can you supply a matching unit while mine is under repair?

Sometimes. If we hold a matching drive or motor in surplus or refurbished-and-tested stock, it can bridge the gap. Availability depends on stock, so send the exact model code.
