What to send
What to send: photo of the nameplate or rating label, full model code and serial number, the fault or alarm code on the display, what happened before the failure, your location and how urgent it is.
For non-standard motors, also send the frame size, shaft and flange dimensions and, if you have it, a drawing.
Frequently asked questions
Do you repair older WEG motors that are out of the current range?
We assess older and out-of-range WEG motors and repair what can be repaired, such as bearings, brakes, fans and terminal boxes, with electrical checks before return. If a motor is not repairable we tell you before further work and discuss a matching unit.
What if my WEG motor has a non-standard shaft or flange?
Send the nameplate, shaft and flange dimensions and a photo or drawing. We check whether the motor can be repaired as it is and, if you need a replacement, whether a matching unit exists or a modification is practical.
Can you balance a rotor after repair?
Yes. We offer dynamic balancing of motor rotors and blower or fan impellers, horizontal and vertical, up to about 100 kg. Heavier jobs are assessed individually. Send the rotor weight, size and speed.
Do you test the motor before returning it?
Yes. Each repaired motor gets electrical checks such as insulation tests and a run test where practical before dispatch. We describe what was tested in the report. Test depth depends on the motor and is confirmed for your job.
