Post-Repair Load Test and Test Record for Drives and Power Supplies
After repair, Star Automations can load-test the control power supply, DC-link or DC-bus supply and DC-DC stages of a drive or power supply at set conditions, and issue a test record for each unit. It is a bench check, not a type test.
Important: This is an in-house electrical test and test record service for pre-compliance, production, validation and post-repair testing. It is not NABL-accredited testing, and it is not BIS or CE certification. Our records do not replace a certified laboratory's report. For accredited certification, please use a NABL- or BIS-recognised laboratory.
Why load-test after repair
A repaired board can power up and still fail when it is loaded. A load test shows what the supply delivers at set conditions, and the record gives you something to hold on file for each unit.

How it works
Send the details
Product type, quantity, rated voltage, current and power, and your limits. Ship samples to us or book an on-site visit in Bengaluru.
Agree the test plan
We confirm in writing the load mode, set values, duration and connections, and tell you if your product is outside our load's range.
Test
Trained staff run each unit in a supervised area and log it individually.
Receive the record
You get set conditions, measured values and a pass or fail result for each unit.
What you receive
A test record (PDF) that lists, for each unit: the unit ID, the load mode and set values, the duration, the measured voltage, current and power, a pass or fail result against your limits, and the instrument model used, test date and operator name. Logged data and photos can be added on request.
Frequently asked questions
Do you load-test drives and power supplies after repair?
Yes. After repair, we can load-test the control power supply, DC-link or DC-bus supply and DC-DC stages at set conditions and issue a test record for each unit. It is a bench check within our load's rating, not a type test and not a motor dynamometer test.
Can I send only a load test, without repair?
Yes. You can send drives, power supplies or boards for a load test and record alone. Send the product details and the limits you want, and we agree a test plan before any unit is tested.
Is the test record a certificate?
No. It is an in-house test record that lists the set conditions, measured values and pass or fail result for each unit. It does not replace a manufacturer's type test or any accredited certification.
