Star Automations load-tests server and telecom power supply modules, DC power shelves and DC-DC converters rail by rail in Bengaluru, within the rating of our electronic load. Each module gets a test record.
Important: This is an in-house electrical test and test record service for pre-compliance, production, validation and post-repair testing. It is not NABL-accredited testing, and it is not BIS or CE certification. Our records do not replace a certified laboratory's report. For accredited certification, please use a NABL- or BIS-recognised laboratory.

Each rail is loaded at set conditions. We record the measured voltage, current and power, and report pass or fail against the limits you give us.
Rail-by-rail loading and protection checks
Multi-rail modules are tested one rail at a time, then together where the module and our load allow. Protection checks are done on request. Incoming inspection and post-repair checks use the same method, so records are comparable.

How it works
Send the details
Product type, quantity, rated voltage, current and power, and your limits. Ship samples to us or book an on-site visit in Bengaluru.
Agree the test plan
We confirm in writing the load mode, set values, duration and connections, and tell you if your product is outside our load's range.
Test
Trained staff run each unit in a supervised area and log it individually.
Receive the record
You get set conditions, measured values and a pass or fail result for each unit.
What you receive
A test record (PDF) that lists, for each unit: the unit ID, the load mode and set values, the duration, the measured voltage, current and power, a pass or fail result against your limits, and the instrument model used, test date and operator name. Logged data and photos can be added on request.
Frequently asked questions
Can you test data-centre power supplies?
We can load-test server and telecom power supply modules, DC power shelves and similar parts rail by rail, within the rating of our electronic load. We do not perform rack-level or room-level load bank testing, generator testing or commissioning sign-off. Share the module's rated output so we can confirm feasibility.
Can you test a PSU after repair?
Yes. We load each rail at set conditions and issue a record for each module. It is a bench check within our load's rating, not a type test. Send the module's rated output on each rail so we can confirm it is in range.
Can you test insulation on PDUs and power cords?
Yes, through our hipot and insulation resistance service, which is separate from load testing. Both services can be quoted for the same batch. Send the product type and quantity and we agree a test plan for each.
