You get one register to plan repairs, buy spares and schedule upgrades before a breakdown forces the choice. How is this different from the spares health check?
The spares health check tests the spares you already hold. The obsolescence audit covers your installed units and what to do about each one.
Does the audit lead into a migration?
Where a model needs replacing, the register points to the route. For control systems, a PLC migration readiness audit goes deeper.
