Frequently asked questions
How do I find the right replacement Panasonic servo drive?
Quote the full model number from the drive label and the servo motor nameplate. Frame letters, voltage, series and interface all have to match, so we confirm before you order.
Can I use a newer MINAS drive in place of an older one?
Not as a plain swap. Different generations use different parameters and often different motor encoders. We can check the motor and wiring first, or look for the same model in stock.
What does Err 21 on a Panasonic servo drive mean?
It reports an encoder communication disconnect. Check the encoder cable and connector, then the motor encoder. If the cable is good with another motor, the drive board may need repair.
Are used and refurbished drives tested?
Yes. They are checked on our bench before dispatch, and the condition is stated on each listing. Star Certified parts carry a test record and warranty under our own grading.
