Terms of Sale

These terms apply to quotations, orders and sales by Star Automations through this shop and by enquiry. By placing an order you accept them.
Quotations and orders
- Product availability, condition and price are confirmed by Star through a quotation or order confirmation. Stock can change, so a listing is not a guarantee of availability.
- A quotation is valid for the period stated on it. An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing or dispatch the goods.
- Prices are in Indian rupees. GST and freight are shown separately or stated as included.
Payment
Orders are dispatched after full payment, or under an agreed purchase order and credit terms for approved business customers. Ownership of the goods passes to the buyer when payment is received in full.
Condition, fitment and responsibility of the buyer
Each part is sold in the condition grade stated in the listing or quotation. The buyer is responsible for checking that the part number, revision and specification suit their equipment before ordering. We are happy to help you verify a part if you send the nameplate details.
Warranty, returns and delivery
Warranty, returns and refunds are governed by our Refund, Returns and Warranty Policy, and dispatch and delivery by our Shipping and Delivery Policy.
Limitation of liability
Star’s liability for any claim relating to a part or service is limited to the price paid for that part or service. Star is not liable for loss of production, loss of profit or other indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Puducherry have jurisdiction over any dispute.
