How to read a Mitsubishi servo amplifier model number

Quote the complete model from the amplifier’s rating label, for example MR-JE-40A, and tell us the servo motor model on its nameplate (HF-KP, HG-KR, HC-KFS and similar).

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between MR-J3 and MR-JE?
MR-J3 is the earlier series and MR-JE is the newer, more compact series for general-purpose machines. They use different parameters and often different motors, so one is not a drop-in swap for the other. Ask us before ordering across series.
What does the A or B at the end of the model mean?
A is the general-purpose interface using pulse train or analog commands. B is the SSCNET III network interface used with Mitsubishi motion controllers and PLCs. Replace like with like.
Can I replace an MR-J2S with an MR-JE?
Not directly. The series use different motors, encoders, connectors and parameters, so a change needs a motor and wiring review. If you need the same amplifier, we can look for an MR-J2S in stock.
Are the amplifiers tested before dispatch?
Yes. Used and refurbished amplifiers are checked on our bench before dispatch, and the condition is stated on each listing.
What should I send to confirm the right amplifier?
Send a photo of the amplifier rating label and the servo motor nameplate. We confirm the series, capacity and interface before you order.
Do you ship across India with a GST invoice?
Yes. Every order gets a GST invoice and is dispatched from Puducherry to anywhere in India.
